Shangri La 2 is the second installment of the word game in which you must form words with the letter stones that are free. The rules are exactly the same as in the previous version, although this one features several improvements regarding graphics and offers a bit more variety. In case you haven't played the previous version, I'll explain the rules a bit. You only can make words with free tiles, and these are the ones that have at least two adjoining sides unblocked. Also, each letter stone contains a certain amount of dots, so the more dots a stone has, the more points you will get when creating a word with that letter. You should also try to create words as long as possible to receive more points. Now, you can form up to 10-letter words.
The game includes three modes: The road to Shangri La , Arcade game, and The Journey Back Home, although the latter is only unlocked when you complete the main mode.
In The road to Shangri La you will travel to different locations following a map trying to find the hidden city. As you play you can win collectible trophies. In Arcade mode, you can play freely in three modes (walk, hike and trek) in which you should form as many words as possible before the time runs out.
In addition to this, the game features colorful and very attractive graphics of improved quality from the previous edition. Sound effects are also very good and the music is enchanting.
All in all, Shangri La 2 is a beautiful and enjoyable word game that will surely attract many players, specially those who played the previous version.
